Do I need to know how to code?

No. You describe what you want in plain language, and the AI writes every line. If you do code, there's a full code tab where you can read and edit anything by hand.

What do I need to get started?

Two things: a free GitHub account, and an API key from Anthropic (Claude), OpenAI (GPT), or Google (Gemini). GPT and Gemini keys may come with a free tier.

Is PALMAGINE really free? What do I actually pay?

The app is free, with no in-app purchases. You pay only your AI provider for the tokens you use, and you can watch your usage anytime in the provider's console.

Who owns the apps I build?

You do. Every line lands in your own GitHub repository as a real project — React Native, React, or Vue 3. Continue it on a PC — or delete PALMAGINE tomorrow — the code is still yours.

What kind of apps can I build?

Mobile apps with React Native, and web apps with React or Vue 3 — tools, trackers, timers, games, prototypes. The preview runs inside the app as a web app.

Is it safe to enter my API key?

Your AI key is stored encrypted on your device and sent only to the AI provider you chose (Anthropic, OpenAI, or Google) — never to GitHub or anywhere else. There is no PALMAGINE server in between — nothing to leak.

Can I use my Claude Pro/Max subscription instead of an API key?

Not directly — subscription sign-in isn't permitted inside third-party apps. But there's a nice workaround: edit your repository with the Claude app's GitHub integration, then sync & view it in PALMAGINE.
